Hello 3rd Graders! My name is Jenna Casteel (maiden name Hoag) I grew up in the rural Toronto, KS area. I attended Yates Center schools, graduating class of 2004. I have been teaching since 2009. I graduated from Emporia State University in 2009 and taught library 1 year and 2nd grade 6 years at William Allen White Elementary in Emporia, KS. I married Chase Casteel in 2015 and moved to El Dorado, KS in 2016. I then taught 1st grade at Circle Towanda Elementary in Towanda, KS for 4 years. I have an ESOL endorsement from K-State University and a Reading Specialist masters degree from Fort Hays State University. My oldest son, Conner Sigg graduated from Flinthills High School in 2024 and is studying to become an electrician through WEJATC. My husband Chase teaches history, government, coaches football and track, and is the K-12 district technology liaison for Flinthills High School. We have a daughter, Jaycee, and a son Colin. I have been teaching 3rd grade at Flinthills Intermediate since 2020. Go Mustangs!
