I was born in Baxter Springs and raised in Galena, Kansas.

I graduated from Galena High School in 1992 and then went to Pittsburg State University where  I graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education.  

This will be my 23rd year teaching.  Throughout the years, I've taught in Galena, Kansas, Joplin, Missouri, Wichita, Kansas and most recently in El Dorado, Kansas.   Most of these years were spent teaching middle school  ELA and Social Studies.  

I live in Rosalia and I have three children, Jacie, Kody and Jessie.   I am a Tweet Tweet  to my granddaughters, Avarey and Emma and  grandson, Grayson.

I love reading, gardening, spending time with family.

Being a part of the Mustang family is so exciting!  I can't wait to give back to our little community.
